Sleight of Hand - Kate Wilhelm - more of a trial thriller than a mystery. Disappointing. I might have liked it better if I knew the characters in the books from the previous 8 books.

Blue Shoes and Happiness - both Alexander McCall Smith - 2 more in the Precious Ramotswe series. Light and enjoyable.
