Proven Guilty - Jim Butcher - all Harry Dresden series. Dresden has gotten less annoying. These cliffhang at the ends, so I've just been borrowing them from the library, and devouring them. Things keep getting more and more complicated, aside for the primary focus of each individual books, and I am anxious/curious to see how Butcher resolves these in future books.
