Thale's Folly - Dorothy Gilman - a sweet sort-of mystery, and nice light reading. Letting it go on bookmooch.

The Water-Nymph - Michele Jaffe - a romance novel with a bit of mystery in it. Liked it better than her previous (The Stargazer). Would have preferred more mystery and less romance. Also letting this one go.

Notebooks that I think are cool

I like Moleskines, but they're expensive for something made in China. The Picadilly notebooks that I'm trying out as a substitute do not seem to have very good elastic.

I've got a set of smaller lined ones, and we'll see how they go.
