I've never heard of tatting. Have I seen you do it yet? I remember my grandmother teaching me how to crochet years ago when I was six or seven. I still remember but I don't know how to do all the fancy stuff yet. I'm done knitting this scarf with that crazy yarn I bought at Joanne's. I want to go back there and get the shade of green in that yarn to make a scalloped edging for the scarf. I've looked around on youtube and I'm going to figure out how to maybe crochet the edging. Knitting keeps my mind off of yucky stuff and I like that. Now, I just need to learn how to do other things besides the basic knit and purl stitches so I can make cute arm warmers :)
