The Bristling Wood - Katherine Kerr - Things are starting to get really interesting. These four books are more like a single book in four bindings. The time-switching was a little annoying in this one, because I couldn't tell easily what was happening in which summer (1063 or 1064). I jumped right into the next one right away!

Kit herself tried to reply but couldn't manage due to something about the DW set-up and her own system -- i.e she's got flu and is trying to get new book galloping.

So I told her I would, on her behalf, also because I know what the problem is, because we've talked about it much over the years. BTW, Kit's thrilled you are enjoying her books in their intra-arcs.

So here is what Kit herself says about that problem:

"The annoyance she describes in BW is Bantam's fault -- they put the wrong date into the header that comes on every page and wouldn't change it when I pointed it out."

It gets better, even, in the next arc of books! I'm so glad you like them.
