Cut my Cote - Drorthy Burnham - thin but fascinating book about cutting arrangements for fabric and clothesmaking when cloth was labor intensive and expensive.

Hardball - Sara Paretsky - another V.I. Warchawski. Very good.

If I were You (Deception) - Joan Aiken - (rec'd by Jo Walton on Tor) Nice light book, set in the Regency. Recommended for those who like historical novels.
