NASFIC 2024

So, I live within driving distance of this year's NASFIC, and I have wanted to go to a SFF convention for years, but never got myself together enough to plan and go.

I'm planning to spend Friday at it.

Does anyone have convention tips they're willing to share?

Wear a mask the whole time. Bluesky is currently full of people testing positive from Readercon.

I pick panels based on who's on them, not their topic.

Set a budget for the dealer's room/art show, and walk around once before you decide where to spend it.

Have fun! Cons are awesome. Con reports are also great, if you feel like writing one! Nothing fancy, just "here are the panels I went to, here's a description of a cool hall costume..."
