Hail!

Yesterday, there was hail. I have never seen hail before. I was tempted to go stand in it, which is apparently a bad idea.

It might be o.k. if you put on your armor first!

Or if your body is made of steel.

It'd hurt

I've been caught out in a small hail hailstorm, and it stings. And the pieces were just chips but during hail season I'm usually in shorts and short-sleeved shirts, so lots of skin is exposed. And if they're quarter-size or bigger they can really hurt you. After all, they're falling from thousands of feet up.

Some of the pieces were shooter-marble sized! And they fell so fast! I figured it would hurt, which is why I didn't, but I was tempted, since there's nothing like firsthand observation.

Even tiny chips of hail can hurt if they're driven by the wind.

I dunno why I missed this hail. My friend got a two minute clip on her camera of it. I just don't know what I could have possibly been doing to miss it....wasn't in the shower...that I know!!
