Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle - Betsy MacDonald - a favorite from the library when I was a child. Glad to have found out her name again, and acquired all 4 of the series. Children's reading is nice just before bed!

My sister has possession of all of our Mrs. Piggle Wiggle books but I lucked out and found a copy of Nancy and Plum, MacDonald's brave orphan story, before it got repopularized a decade or so ago.

I'm rereading Dick Francis at the moment; before that, I'd been on an Oz book kick.

Julia, I find that reading new books at bedtime cancels the possibility of sleep.
